Feel at home at Funchal Bay Boutique Suites!

• Upon check-in, a valid passport or identity document must be presented.
  
  
• Minimum stay is 3 nights.
  
  
• Check-in is possible between 3:00 PM and 10:30 PM (other times only by prior arrangement).
  
  
• Check-out is from 8:00 AM and no later than 11:00 AM. If you would like a later check-out, please discuss this with us in advance.
  
  
• Due to our Adults-Only policy, rooms can only be booked by guests aged 16 years and older.
  
  
• If you discover any defects or issues in/with your booked room upon arrival, please report them immediately so that we can resolve the problems as quickly as possible. If an accident or damage occurs during your stay, we kindly ask you to report it as soon as possible so we can remedy the inconvenience.
  
  
• All our rooms are strictly non-smoking.
  
  
• Parking spaces are available on the left side of the accommodation or along the street. Parking is free of charge and entirely at your own risk.
  
  
• Towels are changed daily and waste bins are emptied. Only towels placed in the laundry basket will be replaced.
  
  
• We kindly request that you enjoy breakfast and consume food and drinks on the veranda in order to protect our bed linen.
  
  
• Please keep noise levels low in the rooms and hallway after 10:00 PM.
  
  
• Remain calm in the event of fire. Report any fire immediately to the owners. A fire extinguisher is located in the hallway next to the brochure cabinet. Leave the building immediately.
  
  
• If personal belongings are left behind in the room after check-out, the owners will always contact you. The costs and risks associated with shipping these items are the responsibility of the guest. Funchal Bay Boutique Suites is not responsible for loss or theft of your belongings.
  
  
• Funchal Bay Boutique Suites and/or persons working here cannot be held liable for any injury and/or (material) damage suffered by guests during their stay.

Damage and/or Loss

By making a reservation, you accept responsibility for any damage and/or loss caused by you or a member of your party. Full payment for damage and/or loss must be paid directly to us immediately. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for settling any claims subsequently made against us (including our full legal costs and those of the other party) as a result of your actions.

Damage to movable and/or immovable property of Funchal Bay Boutique Suites or other items made available to guests will be charged on-site via a separate invoice. This invoice may then be used for travel insurance purposes.

Nuisance/Misconduct

Funchal Bay Boutique Suites reserves the right to terminate your stay, or that of any member of your party, in the event of misconduct or nuisance. No refund will be given. Furthermore, we are under no obligation to pay compensation or reimburse any costs or expenses incurred as a result of the termination of your stay.

It is not permitted to:

• Smoke in the room or anywhere else in the building.
  
  
• Take property belonging to Funchal Bay Boutique Suites, such as soap dispensers and towels. In the event of intentional damage to property and/or removal of property, you may be held liable for repair and/or replacement costs.
  
  
• Consume, use, trade or possess narcotic substances.
  
  
• Use nitrous oxide balloons in the room.
  
  
• Cause nuisance to others, including through loud music, inappropriate behavior or any type of noise disturbance.
  
  
• Allow more people in the room than the permitted occupancy.
  
  

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

Funchal Bay Boutique Suites may amend and/or supplement these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication.
