FUNCHAL BAY BOUTIQUE SUITES is located in the prestigious São Gonçalo district of Funchal. The old town is a 5-minute drive away. There are several bus connections in the district, including a direct bus connection to the city centre within walking distance of our accommodation. Our adults-only (16+) accommodation is located in a traffic-calmed area (dead end).
Funchal Bay Boutique Suites has two luxury suites, including one family suite with an extra bedroom. The suites are luxuriously and tastefully decorated with natural materials, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Both suites have a private bathroom with a spacious rain shower and luxury Rituals toiletries.
You can also enjoy spectacular sea views and watch the sun set over the harbour and the beautiful city of Funchal on the covered terrace.

For years, we had dreamed of building something together abroad – and that dream kept bringing us back to Madeira time and time again. The natural beauty, the welcoming atmosphere, the delicious food… this island had a real hold on us. Until the moment came when we decided: let’s go for it.
Since March 2023, we – Mike and Erika – have been living on this beautiful island with our two little dogs, Floyd and Fynn. We gained valuable experience with our first, highly successful luxury Bed & Breakfast, but we have now taken a new step that perfectly aligns with our vision of luxury, tranquillity and freedom.
We are proud to present FUNCHAL BAY BOUTIQUE SUITES, an exclusive, small-scale accommodation (3 luxury suites), where comfort and relaxation take centre stage. Our stylish suites are fully equipped, including a private kitchenette – ideal for organising your day at your own pace. Whether you want to enjoy a quiet breakfast with a spectacular sea view or enjoy a glass of fine wine at sunset, it’s all possible here.
